Screen Recording looks enabled but every capture asks for permission again

macOS ties the permission to the app’s signature. If the stored grant no longer matches (after an update, for example), remove Sniplark from System Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen & System Audio Recording, open Sniplark, and capture once more; it asks again and the new grant sticks.

The shortcut does nothing

Another app may own the same combination. Open Settings from the lark in the menu bar and record a different shortcut for area capture or full-screen capture. The global shortcut does not need Accessibility permission, only Screen Recording.

Where is the Dock icon?

Accepted Answer

There is none on purpose. Sniplark lives in the menu bar; click the lark for capture, Settings, Help, and About. If the menu bar is full, macOS may hide the icon behind the notch or the overflow menu; the shortcuts still work.

I bought Pro on one Mac and it is locked on another

Accepted Answer

Open Settings from the menu bar and choose Restore Purchases, or click a locked tool and choose Restore in the upgrade sheet. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple Account, so it unlocks on every Mac signed in with the same account.

Can I get my screenshot back after closing the editor?

No. Sniplark keeps nothing once the window closes, which is the point. Export with ⌘S or copy with ⇧⌘C before you close it.

How do I ask for a refund?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the $4.99 Sniplark Pro purchase.
